Notice how Shan Yu doesn’t even question it or make a comment about “BUT YOU’RE A GIRL” he just instantly goes into a “I’LL TEACH YOU TO KILL MY MEN AND STEAL MY VICTORY” rage and I think about this a lot sometimes
((Well that might have to do with the fact that he’s a Hun. Women among the Huns had higher status than their Chinese counterparts and even some of their own men. Women were free to hunt and fight along side of the men, could choose their own husbands and divorce him if she choose to. There were even records of clans being led by women leaders. So for Shan Yu Mulan is just another soldier))
thank you, history side of tumblr.
He also might not have been able to see very well, due to whatever horrible disease has taken hold in his eyeballs.
Pretty serious Wilson’s Disease judging by the copper buildup in in irises, and apparent melanocytosis localized to his sclera.
Thank you medical side of tumblr
i scare people lots because i walk very softly and they don’t hear me enter rooms so when they turn around i’m just kind of there and their fear fuels me
Okay but it’s so much more than that. Maybe you’re not old enough that’s why you don’t agree/understand. Pictures like that warrant certain behaviors within our generation, not to mention little girls look up to Maddie.
Just because YOU…
It’s not even hate. They’re missing the entire point.
I don’t understand why you guys are saying this stuff. Obviously Maddie is an innocent child who doesn’t see it that way. What’s your point? I don’t even mean it in a rude way, I just am genuinely curious why you would bring stuff like that up?
Of course she doesn’t see it that way, she’s 11. That’s my entire argument right there case and point.
What I am saying is, what I said was never meant to be hateful or spiteful towards Maddie. I feel slightly uncomfortable that whoever photographed her put her in those positions, Maddie is eleven. I could understand if she was 16 or 18 but she’s not.
You guys are missing the subliminal messages it sends. There is a way to photograph children and make them look mature and sophisticated without it being too much and taking away from their youth.
I think it’s a matter of morals and personal opinions. I don’t feel like some of the pictures/poses were age appropriate for an 11 year old child.
And I think some of you are dismissing the fact that she is still a child
I completely agree. Some of those poses… with the clothes, setting and makeup make her seem much older than she is. And i’m sorry but the positions are sexualised. Whether we like it or not. Thinking so does not make us pedophiles or anything of the sort. She is stunning in those photos. The photos are beautiful. But the poses are too much for someone her age.

I have never related so much to something.
Remember in 1993 when Jurassic Park was like…the end all, be all of special effects?
not gonna lie that still looks intimately real
One day I’ll remember; I’ll remember everything that happened. The good, the bad. Those who survived. And those that did not.
I love once upon a time 💛
British people call French toast “eggy bread.” That’s so fucked up. That’s so fucked up. I’m not about that shit.
do you think when fish get thrown back by fishermen, they swim around yelling about alien abductions and the other fish stop talking to them?
